This design proposes Cumhuriyet Square and Köprübaşı District as an attraction route that interacts with the Asi River and embodies all the rhythms of urban life with social and cultural activities. The main objective of the design is to create social, cultural and public spaces that contribute to the daily life of the city in the new urban layer designed at the lower level on the edge of the Asi River. The design consists of a continuous walkway that connects the different living elements facing the Asi River and the programmes linked to this walkway.
This design proposal is based on the association of the existing multi-layered urban ground texture, on which there are historical structures that are a link between the past and the present, with the river wall at the lower level.

The lower layer of life has been designed by proposing a change of section along the river channel. The pedestrian continuity on the ground was moved to the lower level by making the pedestrian bridges in the proposed design descend to this level.
